Architecture
Apple Silicon (arm64)

Distribution
Direct DMG download
Free to download and use. Updates install from inside the app (Lucid → Check for Updates…).
Code Signing
Ad-hoc signed, not notarized
On first launch, approve Lucid in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway
First Launch: macOS Gatekeeper
Lucid is ad-hoc signed, not notarized by Apple. When opening Lucid for the first time, macOS Gatekeeper may prompt that the developer cannot be verified. You only need to do this once: later updates install from inside the app.
Option 1: System Settings (Recommended)
Open Lucid.app once and click Done in the warning. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, click Open Anyway next to the message about Lucid, and confirm with your password.
Option 2: Finder (macOS 14 Sonoma only)
On Sonoma you can Control-click Lucid.app in your Applications folder, choose Open, and click Open in the prompt. macOS 15 Sequoia and later removed this shortcut.
Only open Lucid this way if you trust the download: compare its SHA-256 with the checksum above.
